The Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) was founded in 1968 by the Government of Quebec. Always in step with North American and international hospitality trends, the ITHQ is Canada’s centre of excellence for education in tourism, hotel and restaurant services. Internationally recognized for the quality of its secondary and post-secondary programs and the professionalism and expertise of its 12,000 graduates, the ITHQ teaches students advanced hospitality skills that they can use anywhere in the world.

Located in the heart of Montreal, a true crossroads between Europe and North America, the ITHQ lets students discover the realities of their future profession from day one so that they can enter the job market with solid professional experience, in particular through internships.

Innovative training, a 4-star teaching hotel, 2 teaching restaurants, a gastronomy research centre, a hospitality consulting centre, and a strong network of contacts make the ITHQ the top choice for educating highly qualified staff who know what it takes to be the best.
